Frequently asked questions
Will the wedding be outdoors?
We are planning on having an outdoor ceremony at their pine grove located near the back of the property, and our reception inside the barn. If there is bad weather, we will have the ceremony inside the barn too. The barn will have both AC and heating available.
What to wear?
Our dress code is cocktail attire - suits, midi/knee length dresses or longer, or jumpsuits. Women may want to avoid wearing skinny heels as walking through grass and pine may be required. We suggest checking the weather before coming so you can dress accordingly; bringing a coat is recommended.
How to get there?
The venue is easily accessible by car and has a parking lot on site. For more information, see our Travel page.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We ask to please don’t take photos during the ceremony and to keep clear out of the photographer’s way, but you are welcome to take photos after during the rest of the night.
What to do nearby?
Our venue is located nearby architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater house. His house is a National Historic Landmark and a site inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Flight 93 National Memorial is also close by. Commemorate the lives lost due to the plane hijacking of September 11, 2001, and the brave passengers and crew who fought against the terrorists.
Also nearby is the Ohiopyle State Park, featuring 14 miles of the Youghiogheny River gorge that passes through it.
